Driving ranges across the UK are rebuilding and rebranding, targeting a wider audience whilst delivering valuable services for existing players. Incorporating the latest golf technology and all the products and services that make a truly 21st century driving range experience, these venues are seeing increased ball demand; contributing to increased revenue and participation.

We have compiled a list of popular driving range upgrades our clients are using to enhance the driving range experience, maximise sales and increase visits.

Hospitality

Integrate hospitality by repurposing part of an existing structure or creating new structures onsite. When we visit driving ranges, owners are always surprised at how resourceful you can be with their space, or how easily self-contained units can fit onsite. With clever planning and design, integrating hospitality may be easier than you think.

Pictured is the Strike Shack at Lichfield Golf and Country Club. We completed a full driving range refurbishment and re-designed the site to incorporate a brand new food and beverage unit with outdoor seating.

In-Bay Seating

Effective in-bay seating means players can wait their turn and spectators can sit comfortably. Accommodating larger groups maximises ball output and encourages a social dynamic, keeping players hitting more balls, attracting a new customer base and ultimately, boosting revenue.

The addition of in-bay seating is also a popular choice for facilitates looking to integrate hospitality. Driving ranges are using in-bay QR codes for contactless food and drink delivered to the bay.

Attract a new customer base and re-build the face of your brand to develop a strong relationship with players and prospective visitors. Clear, consistent branding and signage builds relationships with consumers and impacts a brands product and place, developing brand recognition and status.

An example of this can be seen at Strike Shack, The Club Company's newest golf entertainment driving range. Their brand message; 'golf, food, fun,' is a step away from the traditional range, engaging players of all abilities and inviting recreational first time users.
